Refund and Return Policy

At Gabaya, we guarantee the craftsmanship of our bio-vegan leather handbags. We want you to be completely satisfied with your premium purchase. If for any reason you are not satisfied, we will gladly accept returns of strictly unworn and unused merchandise within 7 days of the original delivery date.
1. Eligibility for Returns
To be eligible for a return and full refund, your item must meet the following conditions:
- The item must be unused, unworn, and in the exact same pristine condition that you received it.
- It must be returned in the original Gabaya packaging, including any dust bags, protective materials, tags, and documentation.
- You must provide the original receipt, order number, or proof of purchase.
Customized, bespoke, B2B wholesale orders, and items marked as "Final Sale" cannot be returned or refunded unless they arrived damaged.
2. Process for Returns
- Initiate: Please contact our customer support team at gabaya.legacy@gmail.com within 7 days of receiving your item. Provide your order number and the reason for your return request.
- Approval: If your return is approved, we will provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and detailed shipping instructions.
- Shipment: Pack the item securely in its original packaging. You correspond the RMA number clearly on the outside of the box. Please note: For standard returns (e.g., change of mind), you are responsible for paying the shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance for premium items. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
3. Refunds Processing
Once your return is received securely at our Gabaya facility, it will undergo a strict quality inspection.
- If approved, we will process your refund immediately.
- A credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment (e.g., Credit Card via Razorpay, UPI, etc.).
- Please allow 5-10 business days for the refund to reflect in your bank account, depending on your financial institution's processing times.
4. Damaged or Defective Goods
We inspect every Gabaya handbag meticulously before shipment. However, if you receive a defective or damaged product, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
- Email gabaya.legacy@gmail.com with clear photographs of the defect/damage and your order number.
- We will arrange a free reverse pickup and offer you a full refund or an immediate replacement upon verifying the damage.
5. Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven’t received a refund within the specified 10-business-day window:
- First check your bank account again carefully.
- Contact your credit card company or digital wallet provider. It may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
- Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

6. Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective, damaged, or you were shipped an incorrect model. If you wish to exchange a product for a different style or color, you must return the original item (subject to the Return Eligibility outlined in Section 1) and place a new order on the Gabaya website.
